Fitter Fabrication Course covers the training on performs fitting operations on metal elements using
hand tools and operated by hand machines, to change the form of a part and/or generate elements from
the material, perform basic gas cutting and welding as per given directions.
Involves distinguishing metals, tools; finishing up fitting and fabrication operations such as
marking out measurement, grinding, sawing, threading, drilling, scraping, taping, manual covering
and inspecting of elements so as to fit an element as per the specifications. It also involves basic
oxy-fuel gas cutting and basic manual arc welding as per given directions and underneath
management.
Applicants should understand basic communication, numerical and procedure skills. Openness to
learning, ability to arrange and organize own work and determine and solve issues within the course
of labor. Understanding the requirement to must initiative and manages self and one’s work to
enhance potency and effectiveness
