STAR Project (Standard Training Assessment and Reward)
The STAR Project (Standard Training Assessment and Reward) is a skill development initiative launched by the Government of India through the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The program aims to certify and reward youth for acquiring market-relevant skills that enhance their employability and career opportunities.
Under this scheme, ASMACS Skill Development Limited (ASDLT) has successfully trained 2,601 unemployed youth across India during the years 2013 and 2014, achieving a remarkable placement rate of over 70%.
