OSEMS (Odisha Skill Employment Mission Society)

The Odisha Skill Employment Mission Society (OSEMS) is a state-level initiative under the Skill Development & Technical Education Department, Government of Odisha, focused on enhancing youth employability through structured skill training and placement-linked programs.

In 2016–2017, ASMACS Skill Development Limited (ASDLT) implemented a comprehensive training program under OSEMS, successfully training over 500 candidates in the Plumbing trade through two dedicated centers:

  • Rajnagar – Kendrapara Centre
  • Nischintakoili Centre

This placement-linked program equipped participants with practical plumbing skills aligned to industry standards and achieved a placement success rate exceeding 85%, significantly contributing to local employment generation.

The initiative was closely monitored by District Employment Offices to ensure training quality, compliance, and effective post-placement support.
