PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana)

The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is India’s flagship skill development scheme aimed at empowering youth with industry-relevant skills to enhance employability and livelihood opportunities. Launched in 2015 by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and implemented by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), PMKVY offers free short-term training and certification in diverse job roles across sectors.

Under this national initiative, ASMACS Skill Development Limited (ASDLT) has successfully trained 2,638 unemployed youth across various sectors, delivering skill-based education aligned with industry needs and standards.

With a strong focus on placement-linked training, ASDLT has enabled the majority of candidates to secure meaningful employment, thereby contributing to India’s mission of building a skilled, productive, and self-reliant workforce.
