RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)

The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program is a government initiative designed to formally certify individuals for the skills they have acquired informally—through work experience, apprenticeships, or self-learning—without the need for traditional education pathways.

ASMACS Skill Development Limited (ASDLT) successfully implemented RPL programs in the Plumbing sector, training a total of 274 candidates across Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

This initiative validated the existing skills of informal sector workers, enhanced their technical competencies, and certified them under the Plumbing Sector Skill Council (PSSC) — empowering participants with formal recognition, better employability, and improved career prospects within the construction industry.
