Course Overview
This program trains trainees to interact with customers, perform installations, conduct repairs, complete job sheets and follow company SOPs safely. It includes customer handling, safety training, and soft skills to ensure job readiness.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Identify customer requirements & demonstrate product features
- Install split, window and packaged AC units
- Troubleshoot electrical & refrigerant issues
- Follow safety SOPs & use proper PPE
Curriculum (NOS)
1. Engage with the customer for service
Identify the requirement of the customer by interacting with him/her; note job details and confirm service scope.
2. Install the air conditioner
Conduct installation & demonstration to the customer’s satisfaction. Verify electrical and refrigerant connections.
3. Repair dysfunctional air conditioner
Diagnose faults, replace parts, test performance and obtain customer sign-off on completion.
4. Interact with colleagues
Work as part of a service team, escalate issues, and follow handover procedures.
